Most supplement labels say tested. Very few say by whom, for what, or what the result was. A claim you cannot check is not worth much, so this is exactly how ours works.
Who does the testing
Every batch is screened by Eurofins Food Testing UK Ltd, an independent laboratory accredited by UKAS, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. We do not test our own product.
What is tested
Each batch is screened for four heavy metals: lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury. The laboratory uses a method called ICP-MS and reports each result in milligrams per kilogram.
The current results
| Heavy metal | Liposomal NAD+ 800mg, batch 2606101 | Liposomal NMN 500mg, batch 2603041 |
|---|---|---|
| Lead (Pb) | 0.176 mg/kg | 0.244 mg/kg |
| Cadmium (Cd) | 0.001 mg/kg | 0.002 mg/kg |
| Arsenic (As) | 0.012 mg/kg | 0.021 mg/kg |
| Mercury (Hg) | less than 0.005 mg/kg | 0.005 mg/kg |
All eight results came back at trace levels, within UK safety limits for food supplements.
How to read a result
A figure in mg/kg is the amount of that metal found in one kilogram of product. A result shown as less than a figure means the amount was below the smallest quantity the method reports. The batch number tells you which production run the result belongs to.
Where to find the numbers
The results for the current batches are published on the homepage and on each product page: Liposomal NMN 500mg, Liposomal NAD+ 800mg with Resveratrol and the bundle.
What testing does not tell you
A heavy metals screen tells you about contaminants. It is not a claim about what a supplement will do for you, and we do not make one. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
